2024 Certified Organic Garlic Varities
Hard Necks
B-Bogatyr; very rare variety, one of our hottest at the finish raw or cooked. This is Fred's favorite!
GC-Georgian Crystal; Rich, hot buttery taste: great for roasting. This is Chris's favorite!
IP-Italian Purple; Creamy, mild flavor, Rich undertones and medium heat. Like your Italian grandma used to cook with ! If not act Italian.
KR-Korean Red; Rocambole variety that is spicy throughout and stays with you.
M-Music; The cooks love this ! porclain variety ( Means white) has a very consistent taste and is our most common variety.
RR-Romanian Red ; Long lasting taste, with a spicy and nutty finish.
RUS-Russian Red; Purple stripe bulb that, when raw, has lasting medium heat. When cooked, has subtle, complex flavor and somewhat sweet aftertaste.
SR- Spanish Roja; Like mexican food? This is your pick. Nice kick with a peppery finish.
Soft Necks
CW-California White; Brought in from Napa valley. We purchased this variety from wine country; smooth and mild.
FH-French Heirloom; This one only gets better when cooked, lovely heirloom variety. Subtle, sweet, gentle flavor. Loves climate change and has just gotten bigger and better in the last 10 years'
IR-Inchelium Red; Mild yest robust flavor that lingers in the proper way. Medium heat and has been a National taste test winner. One of Sarah's farorites!
L-Lorz Italian; This is an artichoke variety that can have a bit more heat than traditional Italian garlic. Nice long lasting aftertaste, Looks like and artichoke.

Costs; Nobody wants to talk money but we must !
Pricing varies per bulb, $2.00-$8.00 depending on its weight/ size. Now, now take a deep breath, Lets do some simple math. We just harvested a bulb of French Heirloom yesterday. The bulb of garlic weighted 1/4 of a pound. The clove count is on average 15 cloves per bulb. That is 15 cloves of garlic for $8.00 dollars. If you want to plant certified organic garlic and buy 4 jumbo bulbs at $8.00 per bulb you just got 60 plants! How cool is that? OR you get 60 cloves to munch on and actually eat as much garlic as you like.
Growers needing Certified Organic seed stock: We seperate the biggest bulbs and we sell that as seed stock/ jumbo. Prices will be $32.00-$35.00 per pound. We have done the reearch for Certified Organic Garlic feel free to check our pricing.
